Job Summary
Deliver SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's store policies; assist customers in locating and loading merchandise, use a cash register to process sales, returns, and refunds, provide product and warranty information, price match items, and maintain knowledge of stock and store programs. Coach and train associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities, ensure safe and orderly store operations, monitor inventory and security, and take on additional duties such as opening/closing registers, housekeeping, and responding to customer questions as part of a fast-paced cashier role at Lowe's. The role requires high school diploma or GED, retail cashier experience, and basic computer/retail technology skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
