Job Summary
Provides customer service at Lowe's by greeting customers, assisting in locating and loading merchandise, guiding customers through products and warranties, and answering questions. Drives sales through cash register transactions, returns, refunds, price checks, and order processing, while ensuring security and safety standards, offering product knowledge, and coaching/training associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities. Maintains register readiness, performs daily cash handling and reconciliation, monitors stock flow and checkout efficiency, and supports loss prevention and zone recovery initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology
- 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
