Job Summary
Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds using a cash register while providing SMART customer service and coaching associates on departmental duties. Remove security tags, verify product information, and bag merchandise, then prepare register areas by confirming scanner functionality and stocking supplies. Monitor cash drawer and recycler levels, perform daily reconciliations, and inspect returned items for damage. Assist with line vesting, open additional registers as needed, and verify price matches. Detect shoplifting signs, communicate security risks to management, and ensure compliance with housekeeping and safety standards. Operate store equipment including CCTV and copiers. Requires high school diploma, one year of retail cashier experience, and ability to obtain sales licensure. Full-time role with benefits.
Required Qualifications
