Full-Time Groundskeeper

Job Summary
Check and replace exterior lighting, maintain pools if certified, and physically walk the property to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings. Perform trash out duties in vacated apartments, transfer items to dumpsters, and sweep areas while using a blower to clear sidewalks and breezeways. Assist with make-ready duties, routine maintenance, painting, lock changes, and key making as requested by the Community Director and Maintenance Supervisor. Keep grounds neat, clean storage areas, and distribute resident communications. Complete minor service requests and safety-related work area clean-ups. Requires high school diploma, ability to lift 25 pounds, and willingness to learn.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Previous related experience and/or training
- Working knowledge of building maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents employees and prospects
- Ability to think logically and follow standardized procedures
- Ability to get along well with others
- Able to work independently
- Willingness to learn
- Regular and prompt attendance
Desired Qualifications
- If certified for pool maintenance, cleans and maintains pool as directed
