Job Summary
Check and replace exterior lighting, maintain pools if certified, and physically walk the property to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings. Perform trash out duties in vacated apartments, transfer items to dumpsters, and sweep areas. Use a blower to clear sidewalks and breezeways, assist with make-ready duties, and handle routine maintenance, painting, and lock changes. Distribute resident communications and complete minor service requests as directed by management. Maintain neat grounds by raking, sweeping, and shoveling as needed, while adhering to regular attendance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Previous related experience and/or training
- Working knowledge of building maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Able to work independently
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents employees and prospects
- Ability to think logically and follow standardized procedures
- Ability to get along well with others
- Regular and prompt attendance
Desired Qualifications
- If certified for pool maintenance, cleans and maintains pool as directed
