Job Summary
Check and replace exterior lighting, maintain pools if certified, and physically walk the property to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings. Perform trash out duties in vacated apartments, transfer items to dumpsters, and sweep areas. Use a blower to clear sidewalks and breezeways, assist with make-ready duties, and perform routine maintenance, painting, and lock changes as requested. Distribute resident communications, clean storage areas, and complete minor service requests. Keep grounds neat by raking, sweeping, and shoveling as needed. High school diploma required; ability to lift 25 pounds and work independently essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Previous related experience and/or training
- Working knowledge of building maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents employees and prospects
- Ability to think logically and follow standardized procedures
- Ability to get along well with others
- Able to work independently
- Willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- If certified for pool maintenance, cleans and maintains pool as directed
