Full-Time Groundskeeper

Job Summary
Conduct exterior lighting checks and replacements, maintain pools if certified, and physically walk the property to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings. Perform trash out duties in vacated apartments, transfer items into dumpsters, and sweep areas while using a blower to clear sidewalks and breezeways. Assist with make-ready duties, routine maintenance, painting, lock changes, and key-making as requested by the Community Director and Maintenance Supervisor. Distribute resident communications, clean storage areas, and complete minor service requests. Maintain neat grounds by raking, sweeping, and shoveling as needed. Requires high school diploma, ability to lift 25 pounds, and working knowledge of building maintenance. Regular and prompt attendance is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Previous related experience and/or training
- Working knowledge of building maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Able to work independently
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents employees and prospects
- Ability to think logically and follow standardized procedures
- Ability to get along well with others
- Regular and prompt attendance
Desired Qualifications
- If certified for pool maintenance, cleans and maintains pool as directed
