Job Summary
The Retail Grocery Merchandiser will drive business growth by delivering excellent customer service, stocking and rotating grocery items, building displays and planograms, and supporting inventory management. Requires driving to Binghamton/Ithaca/Cortland areas, weekend/variable schedule, 18+, HS diploma, 1+ year sales-based customer service experience, and proficiency with basic computer tools. Compensation is $36,000-$39,000 yearly with full benefits and an equal opportunity employer stance. Responsibilities include stocking, shelf maintenance, creating displays, processing orders, and maintaining product freshness while communicating effectively with customers and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a sales-based customer service role
- Grocery experience preferred
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid state issued driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Daily travel required and occasional overnight travel
- Available to work weekends and/or a variable schedule
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills and understanding of sales processes
- Ability to adapt to multiple priorities
- Problem solving and proactive attitude
- Strong computer skills including Email/Outlook, Electronic Ordering/PDA, Word, Excel
