Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive geriatric physical therapy evaluations, administering targeted exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities to facilitate recovery. Monitor patient progress using electronic medical records, updating treatment plans based on evolving needs. Collaborate with physicians and other therapists to ensure holistic care, while educating patients and families on home exercise programs. Implement fall prevention programs tailored to the assisted living community and maintain strict confidentiality. Stay current with evidence-based practices through ongoing professional education. This role offers flexible scheduling from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with a salary of $100,000 to $120,000. Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Possession of an active State licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist
- A strong foundation in therapeutic principles, upper, and lower extremity rehabilitation
- knowledge of various therapeutic modalities
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A commitment to patient-centered care
