Job Summary
General Cardiologist role in a large public health system in Silicon Valley with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. This position includes inpatient rotations (CCU, cardiology consult service), outpatient Ambulatory cardiology clinic duties, and interpretation of echocardiography (TTE), EKGs, and Zio Patch monitoring, plus performing TEE and cardioversion. Shared call schedule and strong teaching component supporting residents and interns in a teaching environment affiliated with Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and Stanford University affiliation. Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Eligible for California medical licensure
- Interest in teaching and working alongside residents and interns
- Shared inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Echocardiography interpretation (TTE)
- EKG interpretation
- Zio Patch monitoring interpretation
- Performing TEE
- Performing cardioversion
- Outpatient cardiology clinic responsibilities
- Inpatient rotations (CCU, Cardiology Consult Service)
- CBP supervision and collaboration with residents/trainees
- Ambulatory and inpatient service integration
- Ability to participate in education and teaching activities
