Full-Time Florida Groundskeeper

Job Summary
Execute day-to-day maintenance of baseball fields, practice areas, and common areas at the Ed Smith and Buck O'Neil Baseball Complex complexes. Perform outdoor tasks including mowing, edging, infield clay work, mound and home plate repair, tarp pulls, and batting practice setup and breakdown. Manage daily assignments through CMMS (Hippo) software and assist with batting cage maintenance and shop storage building upkeep. Participate in special event setups and teardowns for youth tournaments, camps, concerts, and team events. Follow all safety procedures including OSHA requirements. Work year-round with overtime eligibility after 40 hours weekly, reporting to the Assistant Head Groundskeeper and Senior Manager of Field Operations.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to work outside in heat, rain, wind etc
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of landscaping and or grounds experience
- Prior professional baseball field maintenance experience
- Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules
- Able to work early mornings and weekends with some limited evening work
