Job Summary
Manage overall store operations and direct staff to achieve company goals, serving as the primary operational lead in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Managers. Greet customers, resolve complaints, and ensure all calls and pages are answered promptly while maintaining a safe, professional work environment. Oversee opening and closing procedures, daily maintenance, inventory receiving, and cashiering functions including audits and reports. Lead by example, assist in associate training, and communicate operational issues to management to support store objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, manufacture assembly directions, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration and motivate others both internal and external to perform enthusiastically
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50lbs) regularly, and lifting (up to 100lbs) occasionally with assistance, and climbing
