Job Summary
Full-time Floater Teacher of Special Education for Autistic Support responsible for planning and implementing instruction based on students' IEPs, and for covering daily, short-term, and long-term teacher positions across assigned programs. Reports to the Program Supervisor. Requires a Bachelor's Degree and Active PA Certification in Special Education. Duties include developing instructional programs aligned with IEPs, assessing student progress, collaborating with teams, and delivering inclusive, evidence-based supports. Physical requirements include lifting and possible restraint using CPI/SCM/QBS methods with training provided. This role supports exceptional students in a K-12 context, focusing on specialized instruction and program coverage across varied classroom needs.
