Job Summary
Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain vitals and medical histories, and administer subcutaneous, intradermal, and intramuscular injections. Conduct spirometry testing to assess lung function while navigating the EHR to record accurate health information. Cross-train in front-office duties including scheduling appointments, collecting payments, obtaining CT authorizations, and tracking clinical inventory. Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and ensure end-of-day reports and logs are accurate and complete. Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and universal precautions guidelines while traveling between multiple clinic locations.

- Must have basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills
- Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate with others to exchange information effectively
- Must be able to administer subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular injections
- Must be able to manually take patient vital signs
- Must possess the ability to maintain effective working relationship with patients, medical staff and the public
- Must possess the ability to react calmly and effectively in a difficult or emergent situation
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, balance with full range of body motion including handling and lifting up to (20) lbs
- Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer/keyboard at (50) wpm, calculator, telephone, copier and fax
- Requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle to travel between clinics
- Must have a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Completed Medical Assistant Program or Degree
- 1+ Years of Medical Assistant Experience
- 1+ Years of Medical Receptionist Experience
- Medical Assistant Certificate, vocational nurse license or related experience
- Current CPR Certification
