Job Summary
Greet members with enthusiasm, assist with check-ins and club tours, and promote programs while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Engage with members on the fitness floor to provide encouragement, demonstrate proper equipment use, and support retention through rapport building. Perform routine sanitization of equipment and locker rooms, conduct light maintenance checks, and guide new members on basic workout routines. Complete fitness training certification within 90 days of hire. This entry-level role offers clear pathways into trainer or management positions within a high-energy, supportive team focused on a judgment-free zone philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or fitness
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently
- Passion for fitness and helping others
- Willingness to learn basic training techniques
- Must be able to perform and demonstrate a wide range of exercises, including strength, cardio, and flexibility movements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (often 4–8 hours per shift)
- Capability to lift, move, and adjust fitness equipment weighing up to 50 lbs safely
- Must complete fitness training certification (NCSF) and manufacturer specific equipment training within 90 days of hire
