Job Summary
Remove debris, maintain common space areas, restock bathrooms, and respond to cleaning emergencies. Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and interior window cleaning using provided ServiceMaster products. Monitor, clean, service, and restock bathrooms while placing safety hazard signs as necessary. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, using proper PPE throughout. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch.
Required Qualifications
- Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- 1-hour lunch
- $20hr.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry 25lbs.
- Ability to read cleaning instructions
- Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Drug test required
- The ability to be flexible, work at a fast-paced and in a multi-tasked job is a must.
- Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
- Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper a plus but not required
- Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus.
