Job Summary
Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, counseling, and therapeutic procedures such as incision and drainage, suturing, and wound care. Order and interpret diagnostic tests like x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory results, while prescribing pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens. Develop patient management plans, document progress notes, and ensure continuity of care through referrals to specialists as medically necessary. Regularly communicate with patients regarding testing results and follow-up care. Willing to travel to other sites, work inclement weather, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Mon - Sun 10am-10pm
- 3x12's
- Must be available to work every other weekend
- Two (2) years' experience in urgent care
- License (unrestricted and in good standing) in the State of New Jersey
- Controlled dangerous substance registration with the State of New Jersey
- Registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration of the U.S. Department of Justice
- DOT certified within first 6 months of employment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent team skills
