Job Summary
Family Assistant needed in Charlotte, NC to care for a 2.5-year-old girl, Monday through Friday, roughly 40+ hours weekly between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm with potential early/late shifts and occasional overnight care. Responsibilities include meeting daily childcare needs, engaging the child in age-appropriate activities inside and outside the home, planning enrichment outings (library, children's museum, zoo, playgrounds, botanical gardens), aiding potty training and developmental milestones, and assisting with light household duties (meal prep, laundry, dishes, organizing, errands). Must be reliable, proactive, and able to integrate with the family as an extension of the parents, maintaining routines and safety. Additional duties include grocery shopping, coordinating transport for errands, caring for two family dogs, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment. Start date August 10th with pay at an hourly rate of $28-$30 depending on experience; benefits include continued pay when family is away, paid time off, sick days, paid holidays, mileage reimbursement, and an annual performance-based bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
- Have a college degree or equivalent experience
- Have a professional resume

- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have safe and reliable transportation
- Have a minimum of three professional references
- Be non-smoking/vaping

- Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations, the annual Flu Vaccine, and the COVID-19 vaccine
