Full-Time Family Assistant for Family of 6 in Myers Park

Family Assistant role supporting a busy household of six in Charlotte. Responsibilities include school pick-up between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm, transporting children to activities, and coordinating logistics with parents and the nanny. Duties also cover after-school care for two older children, potential care for all four children at times, and folding into house-management tasks such as family laundry, meal prep (school lunches and basic dinners), light cleaning (sweeping/vacuuming, dishes, counters), toy organization, and organizing closets. The role emphasizes proactive, energetic, and collaborative support, reinforcing manners, encouraging outdoor play and reading, and helping with homework when appropriate. Occasional outings to age-appropriate activities (playground, pool, Discovery Place) are included. Requires 3+ years’ experience, a college degree or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, background check, CPR/First Aid, TDAP vaccination, and strong references. Start date August 17th; pay is $30/hour with benefits and paid time off.
