Full-Time Faculty - Practical Nursing (PN)

Job Summary
Teach didactic courses and coordinate day, evening, or weekend instruction under the Director of the School of Nursing. Maintain accurate scholastic records, conduct evaluations, and submit grades to the Registrar's Office. Recommend instructional materials and lead discussions on curriculum improvement and student outcomes. Assist in advising students, participate in departmental meetings, and attend Community Day events. Pursue scholarly activities and engage in university service consistent with the mission. Requires a Master's degree in nursing, active RN license in Connecticut, and recent university teaching experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing, or BSN with intent to complete MSN within 4 years
- Current and active RN License in the state of Connecticut (or eligible)
- At least two years' experience as a practicing registered nurse
- Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of recent teaching experience in a university nursing program
- Experience in program and curriculum development
- Knowledge of current trends and practices in the specific field of study
- Must be able to work from our East Hartford, CT location
