Job Summary
Teach assigned courses, engage in tutoring, and identify at-risk students through the Early Intervention System. Perform clinical visits, post grades, and recommend instructional materials while updating attendance daily. Design hands-on activities, review curricula, and research discipline changes to ensure evidence-based learning. Establish office hours for student advisement, participate in retention activities, and assess learning outcomes per the Annual Assessment Plan. Support accreditation compliance, maintain lab safety, and represent the College professionally with external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Associate degree
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
- Current licensure, if applicable
- Active in professional activities at local, state, and/or national levels
- Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and with third parties, regardless of their level of education, sophistication, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic status
- Understand that effective interaction across departmental boundaries is a collaborative process
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with learning platforms, such as Canvas, Moodlerooms or Blackboard
- Proactive, creative problem-solver with a high level of objectivity
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
