Job Summary
Clean and supply designated building areas including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, and equipment maintenance. Perform routine inspections, document findings, and make minor repairs while ordering necessary supplies. Carry out heavy cleansing tasks, special projects, and stock supply rooms. Notify management of deficiencies or repair needs. Follow all health and safety regulations, including Safety Data Sheets, and work independently in hot or cold conditions. Requires weekend availability and physical ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and crawl into awkward spaces.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend availability
- Preferred working experience as a Custodian
- Ability to handle related equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Ability to work in hot or cold conditions as needed
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers
- Knowledge of general maintenance and repair
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
