Job Summary
Provides emergency medical care including basic life support and advanced life support, administers medications, operates basic life support equipment, transports patients to medical facilities, maintains EMS equipment and supplies, maintains records and reports of treatments, conducts demonstrations/tours for the public, and adheres to Ohio EMS Scope of Practice and Local Protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of secondary education with training and experience as an Emergency Medical Technician
- State of Ohio EMT Certification
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification
- valid Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
