Job Summary
Ed Tech II/III in Scarborough, Maine supports classroom instruction and student needs in a center focused on students with autism and other developmental challenges. Responsibilities include assisting students with daily living skills (feeding, toileting, mobility), maintaining accurate documentation and progress tracking, and fostering an organized, inclusive classroom environment. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (BCBAs, occupational, physical and speech therapists; licensed social workers; and special education teachers), participating in ongoing training (BHP, CPR/First Aid, crisis intervention), and communicating with families and team members to support holistic care. Requires on-site presence Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm and 60+ college credits for Ed Tech II or 90+ credits for Ed Tech III; BHP certification training is available upon hire; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
