Job Summary
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth of infants through Pre-K children. Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment while maintaining constant supervision and utilizing positive guidance strategies aligned with the school's Pyramid Model framework. Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators to support family partnerships, and collaborate with colleagues on team meetings and trainings. Maintain a clean, organized classroom and participate in ongoing coaching from the PBS Leadership Team. Work 7:15am-3:15pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, with Tuesday hours extended to 3:45pm for staff meetings. Required Qualifications
- 3 years experience
- DCF introductory training hours completed
- CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Warm, nurturing personality and strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and participate in active classroom routines
- Warm, friendly personality
- Sensitive to the feelings and needs of others
- Ability to maintain professionalism and apply conflict resolution skills with children, parents, and staff
- Willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with Trinity's educational philosophy
- Pre-employment requirements include satisfactory reference checks, drug screen (employer paid), and criminal background check ($95)
