Job Summary
Consult with and inform members or prospective members about loan and credit options; review financial information and assemble/evaluate loan applications; explain credit policies; make outbound sales calls from leads; meet production and service goals; cross-sell credit union products and services; maintain professional relationships and provide excellent member service.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to a two-year business-related college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or equivalent experience
- One to two years of varied office experience preferred
- Minimum one year experience in loan consulting or sales
- Excellent interviewing, communication, and public relations skills
- Proficient in sales tools and interviewing techniques
- Strong analytical skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Good typing skills
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Two to five years of experience in loan consulting or sales (preferred)
- Financial institution experience preferred
- Call center experience preferred
