Job Summary

Conduct safe and efficient vehicle movement throughout the auction facility by transporting, staging, parking, and delivering cars, trucks, SUVs, and specialty vehicles to designated locations. Perform daily visual inspections for damage, verify VINs and stock numbers using handheld devices, and maintain inventory accuracy by updating system records and assisting in locating misplaced vehicles. Adhere to all safety policies, speed limits, and traffic patterns while reporting accidents, hazards, or operational concerns immediately. Provide professional service to internal and external customers by assisting with vehicle location and supporting sale-day activities, lot organization, and team meetings. Work Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate schedule changes.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Ability to safely drive a wide variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and sun exposure
  • Ability to sit and operate vehicles for extended periods
  • Frequent walking across large outdoor lots
  • Continuous entering and exiting vehicles throughout the workday
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be available for Tuesday through Saturday shifts
  • Flexibility to accommodate changes in days and hours
  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous driving, transportation, logistics, lot operations, warehouse, or automotive experience
  • Experience operating handheld devices or inventory management systems
  • Prior experience in an automotive auction, dealership, rental, fleet, or transportation environment
  • Knowledge of safe vehicle operation and defensive driving practices
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service focus
