Job Summary
Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale days, moving vehicles to and from customer dealerships while observing safety rules and defensive driving principles. Line up and park cars in the correct order, locate lost vehicles, and assist with getting vehicles operating by inflating tires or jump-starting them as needed. Notify supervisors of inoperative vehicles and support customers and coworkers as directed. Perform other duties as assigned and actively participate in safety activities. Work Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm at a specified Cox location with an hourly rate of $22.00, eligible for commissions and incentives. Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 1-15 pounds
- Close, distance and color vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must be available for Mon - Fri 7am - 3p:30pm shifts
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to walk long distances
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must be able to enter and exit vehicles constantly
- Must be able to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous auction experience
