Job Summary
Manage service operations for 20+ apartment communities in the DFW West district, leading and coaching 15–30 Valet Trash Technicians. Ensure nightly trash and recycling collection is completed while conducting property inspections for resident and technician compliance. Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop Service Valets, create schedules, and resolve customer concerns quickly. Provide on-call support for technicians and communities, deliver daily reports, and maintain accurate records. Train staff on safety policies and enforce company standards while reporting incidents promptly. Work remotely and in the field on a split-shift schedule with on-call availability. A valid driver's license, pickup truck, and smartphone with data are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service and people management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of employment law, customer service, and leadership principles
- Strong strategic thinking, integrity, accountability, and work ethic
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage stress effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build strong teams, hold others accountable, and collaborate across departments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to empathize with customers and employees
- Flexibility to work a split schedule and remain on call as business needs require
- Pickup truck
- Ability to lift and walk with up to 50 lbs
- Ability to walk long distances and climb stairs
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance with you as a driver on the policy
