Job Summary
As a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) at Rendevor Dialysis, you will perform and monitor dialysis treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within a correctional healthcare setting. The Somerset, PA unit operates Monday–Saturday across multiple shifts. Responsibilities include applying sterile technique, monitoring dialysis parameters, communicating with the healthcare team and site clients, maintaining documentation and supplies, assisting with infection control, and supporting quality and safety initiatives. The role requires English communication, strong technical/computer skills (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint), and adherence to policies. This position reports to the Unit Leader and involves working in a hospital or medical unit in a correctional facility with potential exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Nationally recognized Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician certification (CCHT) or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- One year of clinical dialysis experience required
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
