Job Summary
Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) providing dialysis treatment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse at a Devens, MA unit. Responsibilities include performing and monitoring dialysis, ensuring safety checks, monitoring dialysis parameters and vital signs, documenting results, collecting blood samples and laboratory tests as directed, administering oxygen as needed, participating in CPR, maintaining a clean and stocked unit, and supporting infection control and QA initiatives. Collaborates with healthcare teams, participates in IDT and QAPI activities, and supports patient education about disease and treatment. Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent, CCHT certification, CPR certification, and at least one year of dialysis experience. Works on a schedule that may range from five to fifteen hours per day at the Devens facility; environment includes correctional healthcare setting with potential exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens. - Nationally recognized Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician certification (CCHT) or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- One year of clinical dialysis experience required
