Job Summary
Full-time and part-time Dialysis RN position delivering hemodialysis treatments in a correctional healthcare unit. Responsibilities include delivering dialysis procedures, performing thorough patient assessments, documenting care, developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans, identifying changes in patient condition, coordinating with the healthcare team (nephrologist, dietitian, staff), supervising or assisting as directed by the Charge Nurse, and participating in quality assurance activities. Requires MN RN license, CPR certification, English proficiency, and 1 year of hemodialysis experience (2-3 years preferred). Schedule currently listed as 3 days per week (Mon/Wed/Fri, 6am–4pm) at the Oak Park Heights MN unit; unit operates within Minnesota Correctional Facility. The role emphasizes patient education, infection control, teamwork, and adherence to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent
- Current MN RN license
- Current CPR certification (or within three months of hire)
- English language proficiency
- One year of Hemodialysis RN experience (two to three years preferred)
