Job Summary
Perform and monitor dialysis treatments under RN supervision while assessing patients, adjusting therapy, and responding to emergencies at the Moberly Correctional Center. Manage unit operations including set-up, machine cleaning, medication administration, lab specimen collection, and documentation. Assume primary nurse responsibilities and act as a liaison between staff, patients, and the Department of Corrections. Maintain infection control protocols, participate in quality improvement committees, and provide patient education on renal failure and treatment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Current LPN license for Missouri
- Current CPR Certification
- One-year clinical dialysis experience
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and satisfactorily communicate in English
- Strong technical/computer proficiency with laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.
- Current LPN license for Missouri

- Availability to work the full schedule which may range from five to fifteen hours per day
