Job Summary
Dental Hygienist needed at Tru Family Dental - Westchester, IL to join a 7-person team. Responsibilities include performing 60-minute prophys and recalls, 90-minute SRPs, and 90-minute new patient appointments; administer local anesthesia and nitrous; conduct patient screening and medical history documentation; utilize Dentrix Imaging DPMS, Velscope, Diagnodent, digital x-rays; provide patient education and preventative care; participate in continuing education and mentorship opportunities; contribute to a collaborative, supportive practice environment with competitive benefits and bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Illinois
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
- Local Anesthesia certification
- Nitrous certification
- CPR Certification
- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures
- Knowledge of patient screening and medical history documentation
- Experience with Dentrix Imaging DPMS
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital x-rays
