Job Summary
Provide preventive dental care as a licensed dental hygienist, performing cleanings (scaling, polishing, and root planing), taking and developing radiographs, conducting oral health assessments, educating patients on proper oral hygiene, preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments, assisting the dentist during exams and procedures, documenting patient care in dental records, monitoring supplies, and ensuring HIPAA/OSHA compliance. Requires a valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of practice and an Associate degree. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, gentle chairside manner, proficiency with dental software/digital charting, and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
