Job Summary
Provide preventive dental hygiene care including thorough cleanings (scaling, polishing, root planing), take and develop radiographs, conduct oral health assessments, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist the dentist during exams and procedures, document patient care in the dental record, monitor supplies, and maintain infection-control standards (HIPAA/OSHA). This full-time role on a 4-day schedule emphasizes patient education, periodontal-focused care, and collaboration within a dental team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of practice
- Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
