Job Summary
Dental Hygienist responsible for delivering high-quality preventive care and patient screening, documenting medical histories, and maintaining EMR records. Role includes performing dental hygiene procedures, utilizing Velscope/Diagnodent and digital imaging, participating in a hygiene mentor program, and contributing to patient education and ongoing clinical skill development within a Heartland Dental-supported practice. Focus on autonomous clinical care, exceptional patient experience, and collaboration with the on-site team to support community oral health.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Texas
- Associate’s degree in dental hygiene
- Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
