FULL TIME DELI/BAKERY MANAGER

Develop department atmosphere focused on creating and exceeding highest customer service, safety, and cleanliness goals while managing gross profit, shrink, and sales targets. Communicate company information to instill a productive environment and encourage associates to meet targeted sales and productivity goals. Take necessary steps to acquire acceptable department sales, wage cost, and overall health by developing schedules for peak customer service. Train and develop associate job performance while gaining knowledge of products, preparing and packaging deli items, and using all equipment according to guidelines. Merchandise the department to stay current with ads and seasonal trends, oversee inventory taking, and ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and logged. Identify unsafe conditions, notify management of accidents or illegal activity, and report all safety risks or issues. Maintain proper working order on equipment and notify personnel of repairs.
