Full Time Day Warehouse Receiver

Job Summary
Unload inbound and outbound freight, ensuring loads are accurate, neat, and that all cases are inspected for saleable condition. Fill racks, pick lines, and restock areas while sweeping, mopping, and clearing debris after each truck unloading. Operate forklifts to push and pull pallets, replenish inventory, and manage code dates by loading the oldest product first. Submit receiving reports for verification and report any accidents immediately. Maintain clean loading/unloading zones and grounds, and assist with warehouse maintenance and cart loading as needed. Obtain forklift certification and adhere to all liquor control regulations, safety policies, and inventory procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to use and understand RF guns and functions of Location Based Inventory
- Must be able to obtain forklift certification through the company
- Forklift experience required
- Must be able to lift 20 to 50 lbs per case
- Must be able to climb on and off forklifts
- Must report to work on time and clock in and out properly
- Must be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first
- Must be able to visually inspect all cases unloaded to ensure they are in saleable condition
- Must be able to obtain from the Warehouse Manager approval prior to working in excess of your regular schedule
- Must be able to maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of the company
- Must be able to maintain open and clear communications with the vendors and retailers that do business with the company
- Must conduct all activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures
- Must conduct all activities in accordance to the local, state and federal liquor control regulations
- Must perform all work activities in accordance to the safe work practices, policies and procedures
- Must adhere to all established inventory control procedures and practices
