Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning of designated areas within specific buildings, including emptying waste receptacles, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and disinfecting restrooms and water coolers. Maintain cleaning closets in an orderly condition while ensuring adequate supply inventory and laundered equipment. Perform floor sweeping, waxing, and polishing as required, and keep all vertical and horizontal surfaces free of fingerprints and markings. Work Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM at a rate of $17/hr. Possess at least two years of janitorial experience, reliable transportation, and a valid driving license. Maintain punctuality and follow all safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cleaning, Janitorial or Porter position
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Willingness to work extra hours as needed
- Exceptional customer service, being polite and courteous with customers and their employees at all times
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driving license with a record in good standing (if required to work at several locations)
- Ability to follow specific instructions and take direction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Track record of finishing assigned tasks effectively within limited time
- Demonstrated ability of maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition with knowledge of modern cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Experience with use of cleaning equipment such as vacuum, broom, and mop as well as knowledge of what cleaning products are appropriate for specific surfaces
- Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations
- Monday trough Friday 10:00AM to 6:30PM
- $17/hr
- Flexible and willing to perform the assigned duties as outlined
