Job Summary
Conduct anesthesia management for general, orthopedic, endo/GI, ENT, spine, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, and cardiology cases, including approximately 500-600 OB deliveries annually. Perform weekend call rotations at a 1:7 ratio for $1,000 per day, maintaining regional anesthesia proficiency while operating within an autonomous team of eight CRNAs. Deliver optimal patient care across diverse populations with strong communication skills, supported by corporate clinical leaders and full malpractice coverage. Located in Lufkin, TX, this role offers a competitive 1099 package with a sign-on bonus and seven weeks of annual leave.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Valid, unrestricted RN license in Texas
- Valid, unrestricted CRNA license in Texas
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CRNA
- Proficiency in general, ortho, endo, OB/GYN and CV cases
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
