Job Summary
Manage independent anesthesia care across general, orthopedic, endo/GI, ENT, and OB/GYN cases with a 1:7 call ratio and no heads. Practice autonomously as a CRNA with regional anesthesia proficiency preferred, supported by an on-site team of eight CRNAs and an anesthesiologist weekly. Requires NBCRNA certification, unrestricted Texas licenses, and BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials. New grads encouraged to apply for this 1099 role offering $295,000 annually and seven weeks off. Located in Athens, TX, just outside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas
- Minimum of 0-1 years of experience as a CRNA
- Proficiency in general, regional, endo, and OB/GYN cases
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Regional anesthesia proficiency
- Willingness to obtain Texas licenses if currently not held
