Job Summary
CRNA provides full-scope anesthesia care with responsibilities including collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data related to the planned procedure; maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies; preparing and administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards; monitoring airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic responses intraoperatively to ensure patient safety; completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note); logging incident reports; and performing other duties as assigned. Education required: graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
