Job Summary
CRNA provides full-scope anesthesia care within a large health network. Essential duties include collecting and reviewing patient medical and surgical data, maintaining a safe operating environment, administering medications and fluids per accepted practice, monitoring airway and physiologic responses to anesthesia, completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, and transfer-of-care note), and logging incidents in the Safety Portal. Requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program and possession of a nurse anesthesia license/certification. The role supports high-quality anesthesia services in a not-for-profit health system in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina, with numerous benefits and opportunities for full- and part-time engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
