Job Summary
CRNA provides anesthesia care within defined clinical privileges; assists with data collection and review of medical history for planned procedures; maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies; administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards; conducts ongoing assessment of airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response; completes required documentation including surgical safety checklist and transfer-of-care notes; logs incident reporting in Safety Portal; other duties as assigned. Education requirement: graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
