Job Summary
Prepare food in production quantities for incarcerated youth and facility staff while adhering to federal, state, and American Correctional Association regulations. Operate institutional cooking equipment, maintain inventory of food items and utensils, and ensure a sanitary cooking environment. Set up food trays with proper portions complying with economical quantities and nutritional requirements. Submit records and reports, serve food according to established procedures, and meet all job safety standards. Work 8-hour shifts totaling 80 hours per pay, rotating weekends, at a rate of $20.00 per hour.
