Job Summary
Provide personal care, companion care, mobility assistance, and support with daily living activities for clients in their homes. Safely assist with transfers, repositioning, and use of Hoyer lifts while maintaining a clean environment. Accurately document care, follow client care plans, and communicate with staff and families. Respond professionally during emergencies and assist with transportation or errands as needed. Maintain reliable attendance for full-time on-call scheduling across varying assignments. Candidates must hold an active North Carolina CNA license or verifiable PCA experience, CPR certification, TB test, and a valid driver's license with auto insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA License or verifiable PCA work experience
- Current CPR Certification
- Current TB Test
- Completion of all state-mandated training requirements
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License
- Current automobile insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to transport clients as needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, compassionate, and dependable attitude
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different client situations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
