Job Summary
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by performing routine janitorial services at assigned locations, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces. Replenish restroom supplies, report maintenance concerns, and complete assigned checklists accurately while following all safety policies and PPE requirements. Operate cleaning equipment safely, maintain tools after each shift, and ensure emergency exits and walkways remain clear. This role requires working night shifts, traveling to various locations, and lifting up to 50 pounds in warehouse, retail, or distribution settings. Bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be able to work night shifts
- Must be able to travel to assigned work locations
- Must be willing to work varying shifts based on business needs
- Hearing and vision sufficient to safely perform job duties
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, pallet jacks, and other equipment as required
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Continually required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
Desired Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
