Job Summary
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for young children, teaching fundamental skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork. Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment while managing group behavior and maintaining high energy throughout. Communicate effectively with parents regarding player progress and assist with program setup, breakdown, and equipment management. Travel to various program locations throughout the Boston area. Requires experience working with young children, strong soccer knowledge, CPR/First Aid certification, and reliable transportation. Background check required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting
- Strong soccer knowledge and background as a player or coach
- Excellent communication, patience, and classroom management skills
- High energy, enthusiastic, and naturally engaging with kids
- Reliable transportation to travel to program sites across Boston, MA
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass a background check
