Job Summary
Provide anesthesia care under clinical privileges for CRNA practice. Duties include assisting with data collection/review for patient history and planned procedures, maintaining a safe environment, administering medications/fluids per safe practice standards, ongoing assessment of airway and physiologic response to anesthesia, completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthesia record, transfer-of-care note), and logging incidents in the computerized Safety Portal. Education requirement: graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
